Oh hey! Wanna know about lil ol' me?

I am an artist based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. In my tattoo practice, I specialise in dark, illustrative designs that draw inspiration from old master paintings, cyberpunk/aggrogoth aesthetics, proudly at one of Newcastle's oldest and well-known studios, Cock A Snook. In my art practice I primarly work with large scale oil paintings, wax and ink illustrations, but have recently branched out to realistic graphite portraits. I use memories as hidden elements, to allow my audience to create their narrative using the ambiguity and the sense of nostalgia that is present - my work centers around the human condition, the sublime, isolation and religion.

What I have recently been working on is creating a collection of works that don't directly link to each other, but serve (in an exhibtion/installation space) as historical snippets of stories from a parallel dimension.
